  • 2 tablespoons fine dry bread crumbs
  • 3 cups self-rising flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 12 ounces beer

I make a beer bread recipe similiar to this one but I do not use the breadcrumbs. I find that beer bread goes well with almost any meat and potato meal and is so quick and easy to make and rounds out the meal well.
