Ingredients
  • Wash 1 Kg. appels (for compote or wild) and cut their stalks. Chop
  • them roughly without peeling, coring, nor seeding. Put in pan and
  • cover with water. Bring to the boil and cook on low heat for 30
  • minutes. Pass through a sieve or colander and allow to strain for
  • 12 hours. Put the obtained juice in the pan and cook until reduced
  • by half. Put in pots. 15 cl. of this pectin are enough for giving
  • consistence to 1 litre fruit juice.
