Ingredients
  • 4 pounds figs
  • 3 pounds onions
  • 1 cup sultanas
  • 1 dessertspoon ginger
  • cayenne to taste
  • 3 pounds tomatoes
  • 3 pounds brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
Instructions

Cut everything, mincing onions. Add other ingredients and cover with vinegar. Let stand over night. Boil for 3 hours or until thickened.
