This is a really interesting combination of things that work well on their own, but make for something quite different when mixed together. I can easily see the chocolate-caramel-pecan mix since that's basically a turtle candy. The sort of cheesecake-like topping is something I'll definitely have to try. It looks like it would be quite delicious but the jury is out on this until I can actually whip one together.

Pecan pie and caramel and cream cheese?! Wow, I can't wait to make this. I am gathering recipes for Memorial Day weekend, and this made the file. I think this will make a great sweet and salty dessert that my whole family will enjoy. I like anything that involves pecans and caramel!

Chocolate in Pecan pie? That's something I never thought would go together and to be honest, not sure I'd ever try...but I do love me some Pecan pie. I was wondering the same thing about the sour cream Sharrell...for a healthier version I was thinking maybe Greek yogurt and what a great idea using the caramel ice cream topping.

This sounds very delicious. I love pecan pie. I love pecans just by themselves. Is the sour cream needed for this recipe? Can you substitute something else for it? I am not a fan of sour cream. I guess if cooked into a recipe it would be ok if it does not have the flavor of the sour cream.

I love pecan pie, but on its own it is just too sweet and I can never eat much at a time. The cream cheese layer cuts down on the too sweet factor. I also like the dark chocolate chips added. This is a pie that I could eat a lot of.

Extremely annoyed you do not provide an email option to get this Caramel Cream Cheese pie! I have to print first and transfer to MY folder on pies.

I'm sorry about this inconvenience. If you wanted to quickly email it to yourself, you can always copy and paste the URL from the search bar of your browser into the body of an email. Hopefully that is helpful at this time. Thanks!
