These Patriot Pops are the perfect treat for your 4th of July party or celebrating your unwavering patriotism. Oreo pops are great for guests of all ages! They're dunked in red, white, and blue candy melts and then festively decorated with sprinkles. You can even have your kids help you decorate these easy no-bake desserts. Just be sure to keep an eye on the pops so that they don't disappear before the party starts! You can also enjoy this sweet dessert recipe any time of the year by changing the color of the candy melts.

Ingredients

  • 1 package Double Stuffed Oreo Cookies
  • 1 package lollipop sticks (found at the craft store)
  • 1 cup white candy melts
  • 1/2 cup red candy melts
  • 1/2 cup blue candy melts
  • Various festive sprinkles and edible decorations of your choosing

Instructions

  1. Carefully twist the tops off of each Oreo cookie.

  2. Melt each of the colored candy melts in separate bowls in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds.

  3. Dip lollipop sticks end in melted candy and place in the middle of each open-faced Oreo cookie. Carefully press the top of each cookie over the stick and allow to set.

  4. Once candy has hardened, dip each cookie carefully in melted candy.  Allow excess to drip off.

  5. Set cookie pops on parchment paper and decorate as desired!

The Fourth of July is just around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than with these Patriotic Pops. They are so quick and easy to make, not to mention fun. Put these out on your holiday dessert table and watch the fireworks begin. You will definitely get a lot of "bang" for your guests with these Patriotic Pops.

These tasted so delicious, and I love the fun patriotic colors. You can't go wrong with chocolate dipped oreos.
