Bostonian Blueberry Muffins

Ingredients
  • 1 cup white flour
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries, washed, patted dry
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl, folding in blueberries last so as not to crush them. Pour into greased and floured muffin tins and bake at 425 degrees F. for 15 minutes. Yield: 12 large muffins Note: I like to add more cinnamon to give the muffins more zing. Season to your own taste.
