Peanut Crispies

  • 4 cups Rice Crispies (or less if you like the stuff to be more gooey)
  • 1 jar smooth peanut butter
  • 4 ounces caster sugar
  • 3 dessertspoons Golden Syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • chocolate for topping (I like half plain, half milk chocolate)

Mix everything except the Rice Crispies and chocolate together and microwave for two minutes (or until the sugar has dissolved). Add the Rice Crispies, spread in a flat tin, top with melted chocolate and leave to set.
