Beef Spread

  • Place butter in a 1 quart casserole and microwave on high until
  • melted. Add onions, cover and microwave on high for 2 minutes or
  • until tender. Stir in wine, microwave on high for 1 minute. Add
  • next 4 ingredients and mix well. Microwave on high for 4 more
  • minutes.

1/2 cup chopped green onion. 2 Tbsp. dry white wine. 8 oz cream cheese, softened. 1/2 cup sour cream. 2 1/2 oz dried beef, finely chopped. 1/2 cup chopped pecans. Serve with crackers. This is also a good spread to place over a low heat burner at a party.
