Wine Sauerkraut

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds sauerkraut
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/3 cup white wine
Instructions

Rinse kraut in warm water, drain well. Cook with butter in heavy, tightly covered pot over lowest heat 1/2 hour. Add broth and wine, continue cooking covered 1/2 to 1 hour longer.
