Ingredients
  • Yeast Dough
  • 500 grams flour
  • 25 grams yeast
  • 1/8 - 1/4 lt. milk
  • 1 egg
  • dash salt
  • 60 - 80 g sugar
  • 80 grams butter
Instructions

Baking Powder Dough 300 g flour 2 t baking powder 100 g sugar 1 T vanillla 4 T milk 100 g butter Mix same as for pie crust. Filling 250 g poppy seeds 125 g sugar 4 drops lemon oil vanilla 1/2 t cinnamon 50 g butter 50 g raisins 1/4 l milk Put poppyseeds through blender. Mix with sugar and spices. Melt butter and add. Heat milk and add only enough to make a paste easy to spread. Cool. Roll out dough and cover with filling, not quite to the edge. Make into a roll. Place on greased baking sheet and bake at 325 for 30- 35 minutes.
