Million Dollar Potato Dumplings

One of our most classic and delicious recipes is this one for Million Dollar Potato Dumplings. Just like their name suggests, these dumplings taste like a million bucks! Even better, making these potato delights is as simple as can be. If you've been searching for beyond-easy potato recipes to add to your collection, try this dumpling dish that's a winner every time.

Cooking Time: 20 min

Ingredients
  • 8 medium potatoes
  • 3 egg yolks, beaten
  • 3 tablespoons corn starch
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • flour, as needed
Instructions
  1. Peel potatoes and boil in salted water until soft. Drain and mash smoothly.
     
  2. Blend in egg yolks, corn starch, bread crumbs, salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly and shape into dumplings. You may need to add flour to make the dumplings hold together.
     
  3. Roll each dumpling in flour and drop into rapidly boiling water.
     
  4. Cover and cook for about 15 - 20 minutes.
