Heat the oil in a heavy pan and brown the meat then add the chopped onions and continue to fry for a few minutes.until the onions are translucent. Add half of the beef broth and simmer for about 20 mins. Slice the mushrooms and add to pan. and simmer for a further 10 mins. Add the remainder of the beef broth mixed with the flour. Add the heavy cream and the Maggi seasoning. Allow to cook for a few more minutes then add salt and pepper to taste.
