The stockpot included with this set is one of my favorite pots to use just about every day. I use it of course to make chili, but also soup, stew, and ever mashed potatoes. At 8.5 quarts, it is big enough to handle large batches of chili and other food.
Swiss Diamond pots and pans have a few elements that make them a step above the rest. Heat is distributed evenly so browning your beef for chili is easy. The pot is also oven safe up to 500 degrees F so you can keep your chili warm long after it is done cooking.
The nonstick surface on the stockpot is what makes this pot stand out. Cleaning up your chili mess is so much easier when you can just rinse the stockpot and be done. You will never need to scrub hard to get this pot looking new again.
I also love the Swiss Diamond Ladle included with the set. It is a part of their "No More Mess" line of kitchen tools. It features a raised head that allows you to keep your countertops clean while stirring or serving your chili. The ladle's head has 2 spouts and deep, conical design to make reach the depths of the stockpot simple. After using the ladle you can hang it from the hanging loop that is at the end of the silicone handle.
This is truly an ultimate cookware set. The stockpot is a kitchen workhorse that you will use time and time again. The complete set makes a wonderful gift or upgrade to your own kitchen.
