Poached Eggs with Cream Sauce

Ingredients
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 teaspoons oil
  • 1 small can peas
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • eggs
  • bread for toasting
Instructions

Make a cream sauce: Melt butter, add oil and flour. Mix until slightly thickene d and add the can of peas - juice and all. Stir until thickened again. Poach the eggs. Toast the bread. Place the toast of the plate, add the poached egg and top with the pea sauce.
