Cream Cheese Chipotle Dip

The natural mesquite flavor of the chipotle pepper makes this dip recipe simply irresistible. Made with a splash of lemon and fresh dill, you won't want to share. Double dip and enjoy this fantastic appetizer recipe.

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 dry chipotle pepper soaked in hot water
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup
  • salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
  1. Soak Chipotle pepper in boiled water for 20 minutes or until softened.
  2. In food processor process all ingredients until smooth paste, it will take about 2 minutes.
  3. Then transfer dip to serving dish and serve with vegetables and crackers.
  4. Keep clean (undipped) left over’s in air tight container up to 3 days in refrigerator.
