Strawberry Sparkle Cake

Ingredients
  • 1 homemade or bakery bought angel food cake
  • 10 oz.s package frozen strawberries
  • 3 oz.s package strawberry Jello
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • Whipped cream sweetened
  • 4 to 6 whole strawberries with stems
Instructions

Slice top off angel food cake 1 1/2 " down from top of cake. Set this aside, cut in from sides of cake 1" all the way around base of cake, cut in 1" from center funnel. Carefully pull out cake from center and break into pieces. Mix Jello with boiling water till dissolved, add frozen berries and break up with a fork, add pieces of angel food cake to strawberry mixture. Fill center of cake with this mixture, replace top of cake and ice entire cake with sweetened whipped cream. Decorate with a few whole berries with stems on top of cake.
