Mini pies are so wonderful, right? Everyone gets their own dessert, so you don't have to worry about the kids fighting over who got the largest slice of pie or more whipped cream than the other one. I love this idea for a birthday party too. All the kids can have a personal treat.

These look great! They look fairly easy to make too. I had to look up mascarpone because I had never heard of it until now. I dont even know where to buy it here. I was happy to learn that I can substitute it with cream cheese. Has anyone made these with cream cheese instead? Did they turn out as planned?
