Cranberry Pear Crisp

Ingredients
  • 4 large ripe pears, cored, peeled and sliced (about 4 cups)
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, divided
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 cup cranberry almond crunch cereal, lightly crushed
Instructions

Makes 9 servings. Preheat oven to 375F. Toss pear slices, 2 Tbsp. sugar and 1/2 tsp. of the cinnamon in large bowl. Place in 8-inch square baking dish. Mix 1/2 cup sugar, flour and remaining 1/2 tsp. cinnamon in large bowl; cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in cereal. Sprinkle over pears. Bake 30 minutes or until pears are tender. Serve warm.
