Caramel Apple Pizza

Just in time for Autumn, here's a delicious recipe using Fall's own bounty - apples. Keeping in line with the versatile nature of the 8-inch, 90 calorie wafer thins, this caramel apple pizza is perfect for a night at home or a picnic in the park.

Serves: 4

Ingredients
  • 1 Original Filled Honey Wafer
  • 4 tablespoons sugar-free caramel sauce
  • 3 medium apples of choice (red, green and yellow make a pretty color contrast)
  • lemon juice
Instructions
  1. Wash and dry apples. Cut them in quarters and remove the core but do not peel. Place them in a large bowl and toss with lemon juice to prevent browning while slicing.

  2. Cut each quarter into 1/8-inch to 1/4-inch slices. Place slices back in the lemon juice until ready to assemble the pizza.

  3. Spread 3 tablespoons caramel sauce on Honey Wafer and center wafer on a serving dish.

  4. Remove apples from lemon juice and dry lightly with a paper towel. Arrange apple slices in a spiral fashion over the caramel sauce.

  5. Drizzle with remaining 1 tablespoon caramel sauce.

  6. Using a serrated knife, slice pizza into 4 quarters.
