Try out this quick and easy dessert!  Made with fresh strawberries and a scoop of whipped cream, it tastes just like the kind Ma used to make.  Treat your family to dessert recipes with Bisquick.

Serves: 6

Cooking Time: 10 min


  • 2 1/2 cup Bisquick
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoon sugar
  • 3 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 quart strawberries, sliced and sweetened


  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. 
  2. Stir Bisquick, milk, sugar and butter until soft dough forms. Drop about 6 spoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. 
  3. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. 
  4. Split shortcakes; fill and top with strawberries.  Sprinkle sugar on strawberries and top with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
