Tomato Vegetable Rice Soup

Ingredients
  • 8 cups water
  • 29 ounces can tomato sauce
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 1/8 head red cabbage, chopped
  • 5 stalks celery, sliced
  • 5 carrots, sliced
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 4 beef boullion cubes
  • 2 T fresh basil or 2 tsp dried
  • 1 bay leaf
  • salt
  • pepper
Instructions

Cook on Low 10-12 hours. Remove bay leaf. Serve with grilled cheese sandwiches.
