Ingredients
- 3 pounds roast
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 2 onions, quartered
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1 cube beef bouillon
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/3 cup dry sherry, optional
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 potatoes, peeled/halved
- 1 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup cold water
Instructions
- Brown the roast in oil. Prepare in a slow cooker by combining all ingredients except cornstarch and water.
- Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours. Immediately before serving, prepare gravy with cornstarch and water.
