Barbecued Spareribs is a delicious and juicy dish that you need to make tonight. Easy recipes for a slow cooker rarely taste this good. Serve alongside rice.

Ingredients
  • 5 pounds spareribs, cut into 2-rib pieces
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 3 drops hot pepper sauce
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon celery seeds
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Place spareribs on a rack in a shallow baking pan. Brown in oven 15 minutes; turn and brown on other side 10 to 15 minutes. Drain fat.

  2. Place ribs in slow cooker. In a small bowl, combine ketchup, pepper sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, salt, celery seeds, and onion. Pour mixture over ribs; turn ribs until evenly coated.

  3. Cover and cook on low about 6 hours or until ribs are tender. Serve hot.
