Ingredients

  • 2 pounds almond bark
  • 12 ounces chocolate chips
  • 1 ounce unsweetened chocolate
  • 24 ounces dry roasted peanuts or pecans

Instructions

1. Melt almond bark, chocolate chips and unsweetened chocolate in slow cooker, stirring occasionally.

2. Add peanuts and drop by iced teaspoon on waxed paper. As you drop them, the peanuts will go to the bottom, so stir up occasionally.

I really like the sound of these. The fact that I can do them in my crock pot sounds amazing! Since I am doing candies along with my cookies this year, this sounds like the perfect recipe. I can't wait to get these started today. Does anyone know if you could try different nuts in these? I think almonds sound wonderful!

ksquawd Here is a better link for this recipe from my recipe blog. You have to be real careful with these because the chocolate can burn quickly. Use a Crock Pot rather than a slow cooker. See my note on the recipe here: http://passtherecipe.wordpress.com/2011/04/14/crockpot-candy/

NO 2 IS NOT CLEAR DO YOU POUR ALL THE NUTS INTO THE CHOCOLATE THEN DIP THEM OUT WITH AN ICED TEASPOON.AND DROP ON WAXED PAPPER KSQUAWD
