Peanut Butter Spritz
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon hot water
- 1/2 cup moist peanut butter
- 1 1/4 cup sifted all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
Cream the shortening. Gradually add sugars and cream well. Add the egg, hot water and peanut butter. Sift flour, soda and salt together. Gradually add dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Fill the cookie press. Form cookies on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 mins at 375F. Yield 4 Dozen
