  • 1/3 cup butter, softened
  • 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 teaspoons orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 3/4 cups (1O-oz. pkg.) sweetened coconut flakes, divided
  • 1 3/4 cup (1O-oz. pkg.) Hersey's Mini Kisses Milk Chocolate
  1. Beat butter, cream cheese, and sugar in large bowl until well blended; add egg yolk, orange juice and almond extract. Stir together flour, baking powder and salt; gradually add butter mixture, beating until well blended.
  2. Stir in 3 cups coconut. If necessary, refrigerate about 30 minutes or until firm enough to handle.
  3. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Shape dough into 1-inch balls; roll balls in remaining 3/4 cup coconut.
  4. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 5 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
  5. Place 3 Mini Kisses Chocolate on top of each cookie, pressing down lightly.
  6. Carefully remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely. About 3-1/2 dozen cookies.
