Cheddar Cheese Cookies

That's right- they're called Cheddar Cheese Cookies. Here's a cookie recipe for the adventurous. It may be a unique kind of cookie, but they are actually delicious. Go ahead and try them for yourself!

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup evaporated milk
3 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup (your choice) nuts,
chips, dates or coconuts, etc..
1 cup Cheddar cheese, grated
Cream Cheese Frosting:
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla and beat well. Sift dry ingredients, add alternately with milk.
Add 1 cup grated cheese and 1 cup nuts (or your choice).
Bake about 10 minutes at 350 degrees F.
Blend ingredients for Cream Cheese Frosting. When cookies have cooled, ice with this frosting.
