White Chocolate Macadamia Cookies

White Chocolate Macadamia Cookies are soft and delicious. Try these chewy cookies tonight.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3 1/2 ounces macadamia nuts, chopped
  • 1 cup vanilla chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
     
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
     
  3. Beat in egg and vanilla.
     
  4. Combine flour and baking soda; gradually add to creamed mixture.
     
  5. Stir in nuts and vanilla chips.
     
  6. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls 2" apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
     
  7. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10-12 min. or until golden brown.
     
  8. Cool for 1 minute on pans before removing to wire racks.
