My children always love anything with hamburger. This is just another winner. I made this for dinner the other night, and it was definitely a hit. They are already asking for it again. I did everything just as written. I even added the cheese. I thought next time I might use taco seasonings and make it a taco hamburger casserole. This is a great recipe to customize!

Hamburger is always a winner in our home and this dish was no different! (Here in South Africa our term for ground beef is mince, as in minced beef.) We had this dish for dinner a few nights ago and it is a very nice family friendly and tasty meal. Economical too which is also an important factor. The children LOVED it and would happily be served it every day, lol!

Casserole implies it goes in the oven and it does not. This is a stove top dish. Also saying only ten ingredients and simple in the same sentence seems contrary to what most people think of as simple. That being said, the ingredients are simple and what you most likely have in your house. I would not add the mustard and I like throwing the pasta in to cook with the rest of the ingredients. Overall it is a good dish and pretty quick to make.
