No Fuss Potato Casserole

Nothing says comfort food better than a savory casserole. This simple potato casserole recipe is mixed with fresh onions and cheddar cheese. Baked to perfection, you'll love No Fuss Potato Casserole.

Ingredients

  • 6 medium potatoes
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 1/3 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 cup crushed corn flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
     
  2. Cook (boil) potatoes 25-30 min until tender. Cool, grate or rice.
     
  3. Heat 1/4 c. butter with soup. Stir in onion, cheese and sour cream, folding together. Mix  gently with the potatoes.
     
  4. Put in buttered casserole dish (9x13 or 2 1/2 qt).
     
  5. Saute corn flakes in melted butter and sprinkle on top. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 min.
