Wouldn't the macaroni need to be cooked ? It says uncooked.

There is a lot of liquid in this recipe, so the macaroni should cook. Thanks for asking!

The recipe says add chicken, cream of chicken soup but there's no chicken mentioned in the recipe.

5 is 2 cups cooked chicken.

Recipe says serves four, but also says casserole feeds a crowd with plenty of leftovers?

Sounds yummy. However, it's a lactose intolerant's nightmare! I hope others enjoy!

How did it get a 3 star rating? So far, no one has mentioned how the recipe tasted. Soooooo......has anyone tasted it? Guess I'll try it and get back.

Hi soingbee, Customer service should be contacting you as well, but the "remove recipe" would only pop up if you had already saved that recipe. So please take a look at that again. Thanks!

Why does "remove recipe" pop up when I try to save a recipe?

bhill: Thanks for your question. I would advise that you bake it covered for 45 or 50 minutes and then cook it uncovered the last 10 or 15 to let it brown. Thanks! Blair, editor for RecipeLion.coim

Do you bake the casserole covered? Not mentioned in the directions, just in the make ahead part.

Hello elysummers, Well you could always use light velveeta and egg substitute instead of eggs. Also low-fat chicken soup and lean chicken. That might help! :) Thanks for commenting.

Good grief, the cholesterol in this receipe must be through the roof!

Then don't make it if that is a concern for you. (???)

You do not need to add any water, just the soup as called for in the recipe.

how I measure the can of soup is questionable. Do I make the soup with the water as most cans direct or do I just add the can of unprepared soup?
