Creamy Hashbrown Casserole

I just love a good creamy and rich casserole. This hash brown casserole recipe is the perfect comfort food. Enjoy eating this meal for dinner tonight!

Cooking Time: 50 min

Ingredients
  • 1/2 pound southern hash browns
  • 1/8 cup soft butter
  • 1/4 cup cream of chicken soup
  • 3 ounces cheddar, grated
  • 2 ounces sour cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup cornflakes, crushed
  • 1/4 stick butter
Instructions
  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.
     
  2. Line 13X9 inch pan with potatoes.
     
  3. Mix next six ingredients well. Spoon over potatoes.
     
  4. Top with cornflakes. Slice stick butter over the top , covering as much as you can.
     
  5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 50 minutes. Might need to use a bigger pan as it sometimes runs over, but this is the size from the original recipe.
