Ingredients
  • 1/2 pound butter, not margarine
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup crushed almonds
  • 6 Hershey bars
  • 1 cup chopped pecans, optional
Instructions

Cook butter, sugar and almonds to a dark tan. Stir constantly. Pour onto a buttered cookie sheet. Immediately drop the candy bars on top. Sprinkle with pecans. As the chocolate melts, smooth it around as best you can. When cool, break in chunks.
