Snowdrop Cookies

Ingredients
  • 3 egg whites, room temp
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
Instructions

In mixer bowl beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Add cream of tartar and vanilla; beat until soft peaks form. Add sugar 2 tablespoons at a time, beating after each addition. Fold in chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet. And bake in preheated 250 oven for 25 minutes. Turn off oven and leave cookies inside for 30 minutes. Outsides will be hard; insides will be slightly soft.
