Simply heat the ingredients over a double broiler, pour into a pan, and let cool. It's super easy and even more delicious.

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 ounces unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 pound (4 cups) confectioner's sugar
  • 1/3 cup dry milk
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (or use your favorite extract)
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
  1. Butter an 8x8-inch square pan and set aside.

  2. In a double boiler over boiling water, melt together butter and chocolate while stirring constantly, then stir in corn syrup, water and vanilla.

  3. Sift together powdered sugar and powdered milk. Blend in dry ingredients to the chocolate mixture, 1/2 at a time until smooth and well blended.
