Peanut Butter Fudge

Ingredients
  • 2 cups White Sugar
  • 1/2 cup of Evaporated milk
  • 1 stick of margarine or butter
  • 1/2 cup of Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 cup of Marshmallow creme
  • 1 T.sp evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions

Combine sugar and margarine and evaporated milk in heavy saucepan. I use a medium pressure cooking pan, let come to a boil, on medium heat, stirring constantly in a figure 8 pattern. Test candy in cold water by taking a spoonful of candy and pouring in the cold water and if it is soft ball and then flattens when taken out of water it is ready for the candy to be taken off the heat to cool for about 3 minutes. Then add peanut butter and marshmallow creme and vanilla and smooth and then add the tablespoon of evaporate milk. Spread in buttered 9 x 9 square dish and let cool. Can cut while warm.
