Ingredients
  • 12 ounces bag chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup chunky-style peanut butter
  • 12 ounces finely ground spanish peanuts
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 12 large marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 tsp cherry extract/flavoring
  • 6 ounces bag cherry chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped marischino cherries, well drained
Instructions

Melt together chocolate and peanut butter. Add peanuts. Stir together, and spread 1/2 of this mixture into a 9x13" pan; set aside remaining mixture for later In a very heavy saucepan, combine condensed milk, marshmallows and butter. Bring to a boil, carefully - as this scorches easily - and boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Add cherry extract, and cherry chips. Stir to melt chips then add maraschino cherries. Spread over the chocolate in the pan, then top with remaining chocolate mixture. Chill to set, but remove from refrigerator prior to serving.
