So Good Sock It To Me Cake

Ingredients

1 package Duncan Hines golden cake mix (reserve 2 tablespoons)
3/4 cup canola oil
1/2 cup sugar
4 eggs
8 ounces sour cream
1/2 cup semi-sweet mini chocolate chips
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon, or more to taste

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour bundt pan.
Mix chocolate chips, cinnamon, brown sugar and 2 tablespoons of the cake mix in a small bowl. Set aside.
In a mixing bowl, combine remaining cake mix, canola oil, sugar, 4 eggs and 8 ounces of sour cream. Blend with hand mixer for approximately 3 minutes until smooth.
Pour 2/3 of the batter into the bundt pan. Sprinkle the chocolate chip mixture onto the batter evenly. Top with remaining 1/3 of the batter.
Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour (check with cake tester after 45 minutes. If still wet, test every 5 minutes).
Cool for 20 minutes, then invert to cool completely.
