Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbsp almond extract
  • 3 cups cake flour
  • 1 small carton (8 oz.) whipping cream

Instructions

Grease and flour one 9-inch bundt pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. (or you can grease and sugar the pan for a sugary crust!) Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Continue beating and add eggs one at a time. Add vanilla and lemon extracts. Alternate the flour and whipping cream until all are combined. Bake at 350 degrees for about one hour.
