Easiest Jello Poke Cake Ever

Behold, the trifecta of delicious dessert recipes. This recipe for the Easiest Jello Poke Cake Ever has three things going for it. One, it's made using a cake mix, so it's incredibly simple to throw together, even at the last minute. Two, it's made with Jello, and we all know how wonderful Jello dessert recipes are. And three, it's a poke cake recipe, one of the most unique and tasty recipes for cake of all time. Fun to make and delicious to eat, this recipe for Jello poke cake is a definite winner.

Chilling Time: 4 hr

Cooking Time: 35 min

Ingredients
  • 1 package white cake mix
  • 1 (3-ounce) package Jello, any flavor
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cold water
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
     
  2. Prepare cake batter as directed on package and pour into well-greased and floured 13X9-inch pan.
     
  3. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean.
     
  4. Cool cake in pan for 15 minutes, then prick with a fork at 1/2 inch intervals.
     
  5. Meanwhile, dissolve Jello in boiling water.
     
  6. Add cold water and carefully pour over cake.
     
  7. Chill 3 to 4 hours.
     
  8. Garnish with whipped topping, if desired.
