Sounds delicious. Was looking for a recipe including cabbage, have all ingredients in frig so guess what will be for dinner? Will use diced Italian tomatoes instead of catsup and will stir it up instead of layering and shredded cheese on top. All I need now is some company

I agree that the directions for layering were not given in the recipe. Do you have any specific instructions? Would appreciate them.

Where's the tomatoes, above it states tomatoes, in the list of ingredients....there are NO tomatoes only potatoes....is ketchup considered a tomato??

I don't see tomatoes in the ingredient list.

When does the ground beef mixture go in?

I am assumming it goes in first on the bottom of the dish but it really does not say

The way it looks it is probably meat, cabbage, potatoes, meat, cabbage, potatoes, then the milk and cheese. Just my guess.
