Hershey's Chocolate Factory Brownies

Ingredients
  • 1 stick butter or margarine, softened
  • 4 eggs
  • 16 oz.s can Hershey's chocolate syrup
  • 1 cup flour
  • 6 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 6 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • chopped nuts, optional
Instructions

Beat butter till fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition, till fluffy. Add syrup and flour; beat until well mixed. Bake at 350F for 30 - 35 minutes. Cool, then frost. Frosting: Heat butter, milk, and sugar in saucepan until boiling; boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and beat in chocolate chips until icing begins to harden. Note: You can add nuts to the brownie batter and also to the frosting, if desired.
