Homemade Cinnamon Rolls Recipe

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Mix sugar and cinnamon together. On cutting board, roll out crescent roll dough so that it lays flat like a rectangle. Pinch seams together so that there are no wide open cracks.

  3. Spread butter over rolls and sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over buttered dough.

  4. Roll your crescent roll dough back up into a log. Cut log into 5 even pieces. Place flat on baking sheet.

  5. Repeat entire process with the other tube of crescent roll dough (you could also do both simultaneously if you have enough counter space).

  6. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown. Mix powdered sugar and milk (or juice) together.

  7. When rolls come out of the oven, drizzle glaze over the tops. You can also sprinkle any leftover cinnamon sugar over rolls. Let cool a little and serve.

These look so good! I like that they are made with crescent roll dough so that they are easier to make.

These little swirls of cinnamon covered dough look so tasty. I cannot believe the chef has used crescent rolls to make these. Most cinnamon roll recipes are so involved and to time consuming to make. This would be a treat to make with the kids and yummy to eat.

One of my husband's guilty pleasures is a cinnamon roll. Don't get me wrong I love them too but we all know that they are not the best thing in the world to eat. I have never attempted to make any cinnamon rolls at home and this recipe looks really easy. I think I will give it a go.

Seriously, Cinnamon Rolls should be a food group all by itself. There are so many versions of how to make them perfect...but honestly, I think they're all delicious. (Even the bad ones are good!) Ok I'm a little biased, but who doesn't love the smell and taste of cinnamon on anything. This is probably the easiest recipe I've found for Cinnamon Rolls so far...and the fact that I won't mess up the dough trying to make them from scratch is a no brainer.
