Two-Ingredient Sweet Bread

Two-ingredient recipes are always intriguing to try, especially when the ingredients are flour and ice cream. Yes, ICE CREAM. Somehow the combination of the two does indeed make a bread- and a fairly decent one, in fact. Two-Ingredient Sweet Bread is quick, easy, and super fun to make with kids. Change up the flavor by using any kind of ice cream, like chocolate or peanut butter, or by adding your favorite mix-ins like chocolate chips or fresh fruit. For a sweet bread that's light and fluffy, use this simple two-ingredient recipe.

I have got to try this recipe. It's hard to believe it will work. That's the novelty of using unusual ingredients. What a great way to share science with children. Thanks Ruthep for the suggestion of using self-rising four. I know there is a recipe for self-rising flour to save buying it specifically. I imagine cherry ice cream with chocolate chips would be yummy.

Make sure you definitely use self-rising flour in this recipe. Self-rising flour has salt and baking powder added to the flour. If you just use plain old flour, it will not rise. You will end up with a lump. If you don't want to buy that flour, do a search and mix up your own self-rising flour. I really love the add in ideas. Simple and fun recipe!

I love cooking, the recipes you' have been sharing it's a big help. Thanks to recipelion.com
