Abm Potato Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 pound loaf 1 1/2 lb loaf
  • water 1/2 cup 3/4 cup
  • chopped peeled potato 1/3 cup 1/2 cup
  • sour cream or plain yogurt 1/4 cup 1/3 cup
  • milk
  • butter 1 tbsp 1 tbsp
  • salt 3/4 tsp 1 tsp
  • bread flour 2 1/4 cup 3 1/2 cup
  • chives 1 tbsp 4 tsp
  • sugar 2 tsp 1 tbsp
  • yeast 1 1/4 tsp 1 1/2 tsp

Instructions

Combine water and potato in a small pan, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook, covered, 8-9 min or until pot is very tender. Do not drain, cool. Mash and measure. Add sour cream and enough milk to make 1 cup (1 lb) or 1 1/3 cups (1 1/2 lb). If you don't have fresh potatoes, substitute potato flakes. Put 1/4 cup (1 lb) or 1/3 cup (1 1/2 lb) instant pot flakes into a 2 cup measure. Add 1/4 cup (1 lb) or 1/3 cup (1 1/2 lb) sour cream and enough water to equal 1 cup (1 lb) or 1 1/3 cups (1 1/2 lb). Put in the bread machine, follow the machine's directions.
