No Fail Brutzel Bars

With just four ingredients and simple as can be baking instructions, these No Fail Brutzel Bars are one of the easiest desserts you could possibly make. They're also positively delicious, with buttery crackers, milk chocolate and a sugary coating in the mix. Whenever these dessert bars are brought to a party or potluck, they disappear within minutes. That's always a sign of a great recipe for dessert, so rest assured these treats will be the hit of your next gathering!

Ingredients

  • 1 sleeve Keebler or Ritz butter crackers
  • 1 cup butter (not margarine)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 12 ounces milk chocolate morsels

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 10 x 15-inch pan with foil and spray with Pam.
     
  2. Arrange crackers in a single layer over foil.
     
  3. In medium saucepan combine butter and sugar and bring to a boil. Boil 1 minute and gently pour over crackers.
     
  4. Bake 10 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate morsels over top.
     
  5. Wait 2 to 3 minutes until morsels begin to melt and carefully spread melted chocolate over top.
     
  6. Cool and refrigerate for a few hours.
     
  7. Remove from fridge and break into bars following cracker lines as a guide.
     

Note: Top with crushed honey-roasted peanuts if desired.
