This dessert looks like a lovely treat to make for Mother's Day. I love the combination of cake mix and cream cheese. This isn't too complicated, so I am confident I won't mess it up. It sounds like a delicious dessert to have with coffee on Sunday afternoon!

Mmmmm I love cream cheese. I love nuts too. These squares look scrumptious. It only takes 25 minutes to make so no trouble at all. I like rich things so I think I'm going to like these. I would use a gluten-free cake mix but I'm sure they will turn out the same.

It just so happened that we had a packet of mixed nuts in the pantry and they added a lovely crunchy texture and flavor to these Cream Cheese Squares. I used low fat, smooth Cottage Cheese instead of cream cheese but I doubt that it made a huge difference. A very nice recipe, we went the whole hog and had ours as a dessert with homemade vanilla ice cream. So good!
