Make your favorite Asian dish in the comforts of your own home. Easy Orange Chicken is a simple orange chicken recipe that is great for a busy week night dinner when you don't have the time to make a big meal.

Serves: 4

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 1 1/2 cup San-J orange sauce
  • 2 cups gluten-free rice flour
  • canola oil, for frying
  • 1/4 cup green onion, chopped
  1. Heat oil in a deep fryer to 350 degrees F.
  2. Add the rice flour to a large resealable plastic bag and place the chicken in the bag. Shake well to coat the chicken.
  3. Shake off the excess flour and deep fry chicken in batches until completely cooked. Remove the chicken from the oil and place it on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb the excess oil.
  4. Heat a wok and pour San-J Orange Sauce in the wok and heat for a few seconds. Add the chicken to the sauce and stir till the chicken is well coated and the sauce thickens.
  5. Garnish with green onions and serve.

what is the fat count of thisrecipe?

Bad recipe, I would not recommend this. The deep fryer should be closer to 300 degrees F or else you will run into burning it very easily. Also boil the chicken first. 6-/10

Easy Orange Chicken Think you mean 2 C gluten-free rice flour

I agree with Chef. Your recipes have too many errors in them, words left out, wrong measurements, etc. If you can't proofread these before printing them, I will gladly volunteer to do so!

So VERY many of your recipes are incomplete or do not make sense. I guess you mean rice flour, but forgot to type the flour part. Makes a real difference and you really should proof read before you sumbit recipes for us to view.

I was looking at your list of ingredients, but not all stores across country sells the same product, so what other sauce could be used?

I'm assuming you meant 2 cups of gluten-free rice FLOUR? Please proof read before you's really annoying when the ingredient list is incomplete.
