Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms

What better way to make a mushroom than to stuff it with cheese? This will be one of the best appetizer recipes that will have your party guests asking "what's in these?". Be a success with these Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms.

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 pounds small fresh mushrooms
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • dash of salt, to taste
  • dash of Worcestershire sauce, to taste
  • dash of ground nutmeg, to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup Parmesean cheese, grated
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven at 350 degrees F.
     
  2. Rinse mushrooms, and pat dry. Remove stems. Place caps on greased baking sheet.
     
  3. Combine remaining ingredients except 2 tablespoons of parmesean cheese. Mix well.
     
  4. Spoon mixture into mushroom caps; sprinkle each with reserved cheese. Bake mushrooms at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes. Yield: 4 dozen.
